Lewenstein-Jensen medium base
Lewenstein-Jensen medium base is used for the preparation of medium for isolation and cultivation of mycobacteria. The preparation is carried out as follows: the preparation of sterile egg emulsion, preparation of a basis environment the mixing of the emulsion and the basics, coagulation the finished medium. As the inhibitor is present on the basis only of malachite green to the environment can add antibiotics to suppress the accompanying microflora. The kit consists of a powder for the preparation of bases and an appropriate amount of glycerol.
Also is the basis of the medium without starch, it is recommended to analyze the effects of anti-tuberculosis drugs.

Salini staphylococcus agar
Salt agar is characterized by a high concentration of sodium chloride. This amount of chloride inhibits the growth of concomitant microflora, but does not affect the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and contributes to it's isolation from clinical material. Besides the nutritional part of the environment fully supports the development of lecithinase Staphylococcus, and they can be identified with the formation of the iridescent zone around the colonies.
Clark broth
Glucose-phosphatic broth - a liquid nutrient medium with a strong buffer properties. The main use of environment - the cultivation of bacteria for the test of Fogasa-Proskauer. Bacterial growth is accompanied by a diffuse clouding of the medium, and the bacteria produce acetoin after the addition of reagent (α-naphthol, potassium hydroxide) stain culture liquid red. If it does not stir produces the characteristic "red ring" at the top of the tube.
